I feel guilty about opening my present?

My birthday is almost here and a package arrived. My mom took it to her room and then left I checked to see if she opened it and she did so I looked in it and saw that it was a psp 2000 which I had begged for and now I feel bad and I just want some advice like should I tell her and is there any way to cope with the gut?
