I'm crushing on this guy, how can I give him the hints?

So I was crushing on this guy for like, the past year but whenever he talks to me, I don't know what to say if you know what I mean. I can't tell a guy how I feel cause I'm scared that they'll reject me and because I don't even have the guts to. I want to show him, but just mysteriously. I don't really want to ask him out because I think it's wierd for a girl to do so and I think HE should. I know I'm probably never gonna get him, but are there any flirty things to say or do? Or should I just move on? Please HELP!
