Ways to get wavy hair from french plaits?

When i french plait my hair, i leave it in for a couple of days. When i take them out my hair is all wavy/frizzy and i like it. But i dont want to have to keep putting in french plaits and i was wondering if anyone knew another way of getting really wavy/frizzy kind of hair??
