How to wave/curl hair without heat?

to wave my hair, i french plait it (dry, not wet) and spray with just a little bit of hairspray before i go to bed and when i get up in the morning i take the plaits out, brush my hair to untangle it and then spray it again with a little bit of hairspray and it lasts all day! :)
